AU INDIA & SAARC 2017
Autodesk University India &SAARC 2016 took place on 1st September at CIDCO Exhibition Center, Navi Mumbai, India. 3800 attendees attended the 4th edition of #AUIN2016, which continues to be the largest AU outside of Las Vegas.
Key highlights of the event were - The launch of MakerAuto, India Maker Movement Festival, Live Design Virtual Reality Experience, Design Gallery, POSA Stall, Industry breakouts, Subscription Theatre. We also felicitated 10 MSME Pioneers of the Fusion 360 Make In India Initiative. #AUIN2016 trended on the event day on Twitter - another first time feat for us.

The M&E Breakout this year covered the complete gamut of M&E with talks on Animation, VFX, Gaming and new technologies. The top customer stories showcased included - The Jungle Book, Fan, Sultan and Just Cause 3. The overall attendance for the sessions was 900+ users.
MFG-Product Engineering breakout was very successful. Key customers from India showcased their wins where they used Autodesk’s manufacturing product suites from Industrial design to simulation solutions. Top customer stories showcased by: Leeboy, Unifize, SMSCONCAST, BHEL, B FOURESS, ATLAS COPCO. The overall attendance for the sessions was 700+ users.
MFG ID&V Breakout session was the most innovative in engineering where top customers showcased their latest trendy designs and styling in automobile sector. Top Customer success stories showcased: Volvo, VISAVIS, Ashok Leyland. Overall audience was around 100.
AEC breakout was a grand design gathering of the world-class architects and engineers. They presented their success on their latest trendy designs and live projects like Airports, Sporty buildings, Complicated structures and processes. Learning class from Autodesk author Tom Wujec was phenomenal and an eye-opener. Top Success Stories showcased: LA Airport, HKK Airport, Altitude, Burj Al Arab, Olympic park. Overall audience was 600+
AU India 2016 - Infrastructure breakout rocked with Govt of Rajasthan launching their heritage preservation case study by using Autodesk’s Infrastructure & M&E solutions. The Top customers stories showcased include: RIICO GIS, Sunovatech, ARCADIS using Recap360 and SoftTech-BIM DCR. Overall audience was 50+
1000 plus MSME attended the event. We felicitated 10 Pioneers who participated with us under the Make in India Initiative.
India Maker Movement saw more than 30 Makers and Startups showcasing their product and innovation. The Maker Theatre in collaboration with Nasscom 10K Startups saw Hardware Startups pitching their inovation to the jurry. The festival was supported by MakerMela, Makerfest and Maker’s Asylum.
